Green building (also known as green construction or sustainable building) refers to both a structure and the using of processes that are environmentally responsible and resource-efficient throughout a building's life-cycle: from site selection & planning to design, construction, operation, maintenance, renovation, and demolition.

Eco Answers is run by two partners – Hetal Kotak Radia and IGBC AP Neha Kotak Pawar.


We consider ourselves lucky; as even though we grew up in a big busy city like Mumbai, our home had a courtyard which gave us ample access to natural light & ventilation throughout the day. Unfortunately, today’s children are growing up in congested neighbourhoods and building green homes will ensure that these children have a safe and happy childhood which will eventually result in healthy adults.

At the same time, by building green work spaces we do not only increase the property value but also improve employee attendance and productivity.
